Completed and Ready! Greased Lightening

Not to be confused with "Greased Lightning" from "Grease," this is "Greased Lightnening," a rag written by Joseph Lamb around 1908. While it was written during the ragtime era, it was not published until 1959, just a year before his death. The voicing in the original rag is thinner than some rags, giving Lamb's long melodic lines enough room to stand out. When turned into a sax quartet, this results in several places where the quartet drops to a trio, duet, and even a solo voice, giving the piece a lot of variety. There were no dynamic marking in the published version, so I was able to add my own interpretation of how it might have been played, including the slowing, fade-away ending. I did not, however, add the extra 'e' to Lightening. It was spelled that way when published!
